Bacon, Broccoli and Spaghetti Recipe


Looking for a quick, delicious weeknight dinner? Try this simple yet satisfying bacon, broccoli and spaghetti dish from Chef Nourish!


Ingredients:



  • 8 oz spaghetti

  • 4 strips bacon, chopped

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions:



  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.

  2. While pasta cooks, cook chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove to a paper towel, leaving some bacon fat in the pan.

  3. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Return the cooked bacon to the pan, add drained pasta, olive oil, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss everything together.

  6. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if desired.

  7. Serve immediately.
