
Bacon, Broccoli and Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- While pasta cooks, cook chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove to a paper towel, leaving some bacon fat in the pan.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the cooked bacon to the pan, add drained pasta, olive oil, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss everything together.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately.
