Fish Burrito Recipe

Ingredients:



  • 2 fillets of white fish (tilapia, cod, or mahi-mahi)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

  • 1/2 cup black beans (drained and rinsed)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage or lettuce

  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup diced avocado

  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 2 large flour tortillas

  • Fresh cilantro and hot sauce for garnish (optional)


Instructions:



  1. Season and cook the fish – Rub the fish fillets with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and lime juice. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until flaky.

  2. Prepare the filling – Warm up the rice and black beans. Chop the tomatoes, avocado, and cabbage.

  3. Assemble the burrito – Lay out a tortilla and spread a bit of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Add rice, black beans, cooked fish, cabbage, tomatoes, and avocado.

  4. Wrap it up – Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a burrito.

  5. Enjoy! – Serve with hot sauce, fresh cilantro, or a squeeze of lime for extra flavor.
